The Truth Never Was Popular

January 15, 2014

My Teacher said to me the other day during a telephone consultation:

“So how is your blog coming along? What sort of feedback do you get?” To which I replied:

“Well I don’t have many followers and very little feedback but the feedback I do get tends to be along the lines of ‘I really like your honesty’”.

My Teacher sniggered: “Hmmm, the truth never was that popular”. We giggled between ourselves, like naughty schoolchildren slagging off the playground bully and I felt lighter. I let go, for some reason, of that misplaced sense of responsibility I had carried from youth – a burning desire to change the world single handed.

This blog has always been about honesty. It has always leaned towards self-disclosure, open wounds and blatant truth.

Things are about to get more blatant.

Hold on to your britches people.

Popular or not – we all need to WAKE UP this year.

Oh don’t worry, we can still have a giggle along the way, after all – did you know that the sound of the heart opening is laughter?

And did you know that when the heart is open – we are no longer able to hide from ourselves?
